A Rua Filipe da Mata tem uma leitura muito rica e variada de edifícios. Todos eles com cores e linguagens diferentes, no entanto, após uma análise cuidada, chegou-se à conclusão que o tipo de edifício Tardo-Pombalino é predominante. Com base nesta análise, considerou-se que o caminho mais adequado para a linguagem contemporânea do novo edifício seria o da continuidade e não o da ruptura, optando por explorar uma composição de alçado baseada nas métricas da arquitectura pombalina.
Filipe da Mata is a very rich street with a wide variety of buildings. All the buildings are from different eras, and have different colors and languages, however, in the architectural language of this street, the type of building of Pombaline architecture predominates. Based on this, it was considered that the most appropriate path for the language of the new building would be a harmonious composition based on the metrics of Pombaline architecture.

É possível contemplar a materialidade alusiva à cidade dada pelo revestimento em pedra lioz e pelo azulejo, que varia entre os tons de verde seco e bege, construindo uma afinidade cromática com os vários tons das paredes dos edifícios vizinhos.
No alçado tardoz é visível a existência de uma maior liberdade no desenho da linguagem arquitectónica. Apesar de continuar a métrica pombalina na composição dos vãos, este alçado assume um carácter mais compositivo e reverente, como se pode ver na moldura composta por generosas varandas que se soltam da fachada, também ela revestida a pedra lioz.
It is possible to contemplate the materiality alluding to the city, given by the lioz stone cladding and the tile, which varies between tones of green and beige, building a chromatic affinity with the various tones of the walls of the neighboring buildings. The rear elevation, on the other hand, shows greater freedom in the design of the architectural language. Despite continuing with a Pombaline metric, this elevation takes on a more compositional character, as can be seen in the frame that generates the generous balconies and detaches from the façade, which is also clad in lioz stone.
